Debt Counselling is a journey worth taking

It truly has been a long, but worthwhile, road from the time of realising that something had to be done, to the completion of the journey. There were hardships to be overcome, both physically and emotionally, but always driven by the goal – freedom from debt.

Here are David’s words as they appeared in his email.

“I just want to express my gratitude to you, Nicolene and staff for the sterling work. It has been a difficult journey, the road less travelled, sometimes filled with anguished, anger and frustrations. Perhaps the quote from Nelson Mandela’s Long Walk to Freedom says it all:

I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter; I have made missteps along the way. But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come. But I can rest only for a moment, for with freedom comes responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk is not yet ended.

This was the journey worth taking…I have learnt a lot from this journey.

Thank you, much appreciated”. – D.H.
